Surrealist research
Rene Magritte is one of the Surrealists that is known as a Veristic Surrealist, as opposed to the Automatistic Surrealistic. He worked as a painter, employing oil paints as his vehicle of choice. As an artists, he uses Illogical Juxtaposition, Aberrent Scale and Levitation in his works frequently. In "Golconde", shown below, he uses illogical juxtaposition and levitation as the primary surrealist practices.

"Golconde" Rene Magritte
Eugene Soloviev is a digital surrealist living in Russia currently. He also employs illogical juxtaposition, aberrant scale and levitation in his body of work. In "Last Symphony", below, he uses illogical juxtapostion and levitation of pianos. He works with pictures and the manipulation of those photographs to create these images.
